The Herbary

It all started in 2018 with the passage of the farm bill that made hemp (cannabis sativa) a federally legal crop in the US. Because of her background in biology (it’s a little-known fact that Becky has a PhD in biology from Yale!) Becky introduced the hemp program to our rotation of seasonal crops so we could offer our community only the highest quality CBD products that you can trust.

Over the years this endeavor has evolved beyond just hemp to include medicinal herbs used in our botanicals line: herbal tea blends, salves, tinctures just to name a few! We now grow several dozen varieties of both culinary & medicinal herbs available fresh throughout the growing season and dry at our apothecary in the garden center.
